Kjell Karlsen gathered the crème of Norwegian musicians for this album. Trumpet: Christian Beck, Finn Eriksen, Geir Hauger, Atle Hammer, Fred Nøddelund. Trombone: Frode Thingnæs, Tore Nilsen, Kjell Haugen, Arild Jensen, Lyder Vengbo og Øivind Westbye. Saxophones by: Erik Andresen, Bjørn Kruse, Erling Andersen, Kristian Bergheim, Rolf Nøddelund, Knut Riisnæs, Harald Bergersen, Johan Bergli. Accompanied by Svein Christiansen on drums, Henryk Lysiak og Iver Kleive at the keyboard, Bjørn Jacobsen on bass, as well as Nipe Nyrén and Freddy Lindquist with guitar. Vocals by: We-Be Karlsen, Odd Børre og Dag Spantell, and also Wenche Hallan og Fia Quale.

In the orchestra pit at the Det Norske Teatret under the direction of Egil Monn-Iversen were Geir Hauger together with the best of Oslo’s musicians in the genre. Also on trumpet were Christian Bech og Bernt Anker Steen. On woodwind instruments were Rolf Malm, Eva Gulbrandsen, Håvard Nordang, Hans Petter Åsen. Other brass instruments played by Odd Ulleberg og Kjell Haugen. Also a large string group, accompanied by the guitarist Svein Johann Ose, Einar Iversen, piano and Svein Christiansen/Gunnar Aas percussion.

Under the musical direction of Egil Monn-Iversen the first Norwegian production of «A Chorus Line» became a blockbuster with famous actors and musicians. In the pit were Christian Bech, Bernt Anker Steen and Geir Hauger on the trumpets. On the trombone were Jens Wendelboe, Dag Eriksen and Øyvind Westby. Woodwinds were played by Arild Stav, Johan Bergli, Petter Brambani and Rolf Malm. On keyboards Kari Stokke, guitar Ronny Gyllensten. Bass Terje Methi, drums Tom Olstad, and percussion Morten Belstad. Ingrid Blindheim provided the harp.
